FRx
Microsoft FRx Desktop is a graphical reporting tool that allows the user to create custom financial statements directly from the Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 ERP system. This is accomplished by creating row formats, column layouts, and reporting trees independently of each other. Row formats are used to link FRx Desktop to the General Ledger accounts in Sage MAS 90 or MAS 200. Column layouts allow the user to report budget or actual numbers, perform calculations on other columns, hide columns, and many other functions. Reporting trees are used to detail the reporting units and allow the user to move the reporting units from parent to child positions and vice versa with drag-and-drop functionality. These building blocks are then combined to generate financial reports.

After creating a report the user can print it, export it to an Excel workbook, drill down into it to examine the transaction details, or distribute it by email. FRx Desktop includes links that allow the user to include external spreadsheet data in reports. It also contains the functionality necessary to generate multi-company consolidation financial statements.

Business Alerts is an impressive module designed to keep you and your personnel "in the know." This innovative product utilizes your e-mail system to notify you whenever something significant happens in your MAS 90, MAS 200 or MAS 200 for SQL database. The notifications that you choose to generate can be selected from a series of sample alerts which can quickly be tailored to suit your specific needs. Or you may choose to create custom alerts based on your company's unique needs. In addition to keeping your staff better informed, Business Alerts can also send e-mail notifications to your customers and vendors.

Visual Integrator
"Open architecture" is the catch phrase for business application software and databases these days. Companies that in the past may have put up with discrete applications running stand-alone, and performed software "gymnastics" to obtain integrated reporting from their tools, are now demanding that these products work together. To facilitate this process, an industry standard known as open database connectivity (ODBC) was developed. Visual Integrator has been designed to facilitate seamless integration between MAS 90 and MAS 200 data and other business applications. Visual Integrator can import from (or export to) any ODBC-compliant source, without the need for an intermediary data file such as ASCII delimited or Microsoft Excel. If you regularly perform imports from a custom or vertical software package, you'll find you can use Visual Integrator to make the integration virtually seamless.

Custom Office
To stay competitive, you need your accounting software and business productivity software to work together and offer indispensable functions like graphical reporting, integration, customization and drill down functionality. The MAS 90 and MAS 200 Custom Office module provides the solution with a suite of tools composed of Visual PostMaster, Customizer and the MS Office Link, that integrate with the Microsoft Office suite. The MS Office Link allows you to easily create letters or messages to individual customers or vendors. You can attach documents (such as scanned-in images) to specific records in the product's data files (e.g., a photograph to an inventory item or an invoice to the invoice record in Accounts Payable history). With Visual PostMaster, you can create batch mailing jobs and marketing campaigns. Customizer provides user-defined fields (UDFs) that you can easily implement without any special programming skills.
