Sage MIP Fund Accounting User Group Meetings
Among the many benefits of attending a User Group Meeting is getting to know other Sage MIP Fund Accounting users in your area and tapping into their hands on knowledge and experience as well as to share ideas on non profit practice and product functionality. We promote an open forum, so please come prepared to share your thoughts, questions and ideas.
Topics for Discussion:
Tips & Tricks - Want to speed up your data entry so you have more time to play golf this summer? Even if you're not a Tiger Woods aficionado, this will be your chance to review some of the many features found in MIP that will make your life easier and help assure the accuracy of your accounting information. We'll be talking about everything from default values to distribution codes to data imports.
Closing a Fiscal Year - Many of us have been traumatized by the cumbersome steps needed to close a fiscal year in our accounting software packages. With the help of a trained professional, we will step you thru MIP's process. And to further alleviate any fears you may have, we'll even show you how you can make an entry to a closed year!
Reporting - What would a user group meeting be without talking about reporting (OK, we get the message)? Among others, we'll be looking at MIP's Combining Statement of Revenues and Expenditures to see how to put this report to work in your organization. We'll step you thru the various tabs associated with it, and point out options that make this report unique.
