Color coding Sage Intacct entities and bookmarking tasks.

Adding a color code to an entity will help prevent users from entering data into the wrong entity.  Marking tasks as a favorite or bookmarking them can make navigating Sage Intacct easier.

How to Color Code an Entity: 

  • Company > Setup > Configuration > Entities.

  • If you’re using the enhanced list functionality, click on the ellipses by the company name and select Edit.

  • If you’re using the standard list, click Edit by the company name.

  • Click the dropdown arrow by Color and select a color. Click Save.

How to Favorite/Bookmark a Task: 

  • To favorite a task, hover your mouse over the task and click the star that appears to the right.

  • Click the star in the upper left corner to see your favorites.

  • Click the dropdown arrow to view your favorites by module or to see them all.

  • To bookmark a task, select the task.

  • Click the bookmarks in the upper right corner and select Bookmark this Page.

  • Bookmarking a task allows you to enter a description. This can be very helpful for new users of Sage Intacct.
