DWD Technology Group (DWD) participated in United Way of Allen County’s 25th anniversary Day of Caring on Wednesday, August 23rd. After attending the kick-off breakfast at Headwaters Park, DWD employees headed out to Vincent Village to spruce things up with the landscaping, cleaning, and organizing supplies. The weather was absolutely beautiful to be outside and giving back to the community!

Vincent Village, Inc. serves homeless families with children. It is the only transitional shelter in Allen County serving two-parent families and single-male headed families. Being able to keep families together during the crisis of homelessness provides an additional element of strength and an even greater chance for success.

The Day of Caring began in 1992 with about 250 volunteers and has grown to thousands of volunteers coming together to give back and to help make Allen County a better place to live and work.
