Navigating entry fields with shortcuts in Sage Intacct made easy!
Sage Intacct offers many shortcuts throughout the system, allowing quicker navigation to users who learn them.

Let’s look at an entry in the General Ledger:
- In an entry screen the date field can be set by using the date fields shortcut signifying a defined date:
- This date can be moved forward or backward using the + and – keys, allowing one to easily move to the prior day, or to the next day.
- In the entry grid, tab can be used to move forward a field (shift tab will move backward), Alt and the up or down keys will move to the same field in the row above or below, holding Ctrl will allow a highlighted field to be copied to another row by dragging it.
- You might see a message saying Show details (Ctrl + down arrow). Meaning that there are other fields that are hidden.
- A Calculation tape can be started by selecting any of the operator keys (+*-/) after typing an initial value. The results of this can be viewed by selecting =, and the enter key will input to total value into the field.
- Once the transaction is finished, Alt+S will save or post, Alt+W will post and open a new entry, and Alt+Q will cancel the transaction.
